Elite Reformer Studio is a reformer and Tower studio based in Newton Abbot near to Torquay (Torbay). Elite Reformer Studio has 8 reformer machines and eight Towers.
Elite hold reformer classes 7 days a week. All of our reformer classes are suitable for those new to the reformer – Beginners. We just have one evening class that would not be suitable for beginners and is targeted at intermediate to advanced level.
Elite reformer studio are also an educational training provider – Training Pilates Teachers to become proficient on the Reformer. We Teach the Teachers!

Can a beginner do reformer pilates? – Yes. In an ideal world both a mixture of mat based pilates and reformer classes would be best for everyone. The reformer is suited for beginner and advanced athlete alike.

Yes, we do however encourage students to attend a beginners course or a specific Beginners Class – however all are Teachers are trained to the highest level and know their stuff – a beginner to the reformer machine need not have any prior experience.

How many times a week can I do reformer? At Elite Reformer we try to avoid the use of ‘must’ and ‘should’. We suggest at least once per week and if possible include a mat based pilates class. But how long is a piece of string? We have one rule of thumb – As much Pain free movement as possible – and that does not have to be formal exercise, reformer or mat, we have evolved for movement – just move!

Do I need to attend an induction before my first class?
Do I need to attend an induction before my first class? No! Whilst we run beginner courses as well as Reformer Teacher Training Courses – there is no imperative that you must first attend an induction HOWEVER you would get more out of your reformer / tower session if you either attend our short beginners course and or attend one of our specially designed beginner classes.

No Reformer Pilates classes are above and beyond our other Elite memberships, however we do have offers on reformer classes + mat-based classes so you get the BEST of both worlds – a First class premier service Reformer + Tower + mat-based class with Pilates small equipment often used in our mat-based pilates classes.
