Can I do reformer Pilates with no experience?

Can a beginner do reformer Pilates?

Short answer – Yes! The reformer machine can cater to all sizes, shapes and a number of medical considerations. as well as all abilities. The reformer machine can make a move more accessible for the novice or far more challenging for the so called advanced.

Why Reformer Pilates is Suitable for a Beginner

Changeable Resistance

The reformer has a number of resistance springs of, ranging from a light resistance, moderate, to heavy resistance. Thus making exercises easier or more challenging as needed. Now the great thing about the reformer springs is that depending upon the a light resistance spring can make the exercise far more challenging, or much much easier to perform – depending upon the exercise and also the weight of the student! And the converse is also true. Just because one is using heavy springs does not mean that the exercise is harder – it may make it far easier.
