I have made this mistake soooo many times. โ โ As soon as my numbers are high I stop marketing. โ And then the next thing is Iโm running around for more clients. โ โ โ

Now my adverts are constantly running. โ Sometimes I increase my budget and sometimes I just have them on a drip feed BUT thereโs ALWAYS adverts running.

โก๏ธ No one likes crap service.
โก๏ธ โ Get to know peopleโs NAMES. โ You will not believe how valued that makes people feel!
โก๏ธ Good admin response times – but have boundaries. โ I have had clients messaging on FB at 5am!! โ Thatโs a NO NO!
โก๏ธ I send new clients a welcome card
โก๏ธ I send birthday cards
โก๏ธ I send anniversary cards
โก๏ธ I send โthinking of you / sympathy cardโ
โก๏ธ Every now and again Iโll give someone a free class or a free massage
โก๏ธ I will make sure that when Iโm teaching I have spent some time during that session with each of the clients in my class – It might be that Iโve just stood next to them and not spoken directly with them, but Iโve made eye contact and Iโve given THEM my energy for those few minutes.
โก๏ธ I donโt believe the customer is always right and in fact many a time clients have complained and they got it wrong. โ BE RESPECTFUL but firm.

People will know when youโre not passionate about what you do. โ โ Educate yourself. โ Go to your own classes and make sure you have your own practice as it will give you lots of ideas to keep your classes fresh and exciting.
There have been times where Iโve lost my mojo, we all do at some point. โ โ I pay other teachers to teach so that my clients get the best service, even if it means I need to take a step back.

Record everything you do.
Create templates to save you time.
Try and get as much of your business automated as possible. โ It will save you LOTS of TIME, ENERGY & MONEY

Get a good accountant / bookkeeper who will make sure youโre doing it right and get your ready for expansion! โ
Thereโs nothing more depressing than finding out 6 months AFTER youโve hit the VAT threshold that you owe thousands of pounds because your accountant wasnโt ontop of it
