How much does Pilates teacher training cost?
Quite recently I’ve heard from several people saying ….
“I wish I did my course with you!”
One part of my l
ves hearing that, as it is telling me that what I’m putting out there is showing the value our courses provide.
The other part feels sad – that OTHER providers are not doing THEIR best to make sure they are helping people and supporting them to the best of their ability. 
Maybe it’s because we do this for a living and this is our bread and butter and it means we have more invested into helping people be excellent teachers…
AND BECAUSE we know what kind of clients you’re going to come across and we genuinely want to make sure you look after them properly!
It saddens me because what should be taught isn’t being taught and it means people are getting qualified … with “just enough” knowledge to pass the exams.
What I will say in “their” defence is that many courses teach the minimum requirements to pass the assessment and their prices reflect that.
I will do whatever I can to help anyone, whether they have qualified with other providers or not to become confident and skilled teachers.
. It’s not uncommon for us to get someone from another course come and spend a few days of training with us to improve on their teaching skills or anatomy knowledge.
It’s not uncommon for people to get in touch to ask about medical conditions and how to help a certain person – and I do always have a little chuckle thinking THIS IS EVERYTHING WE TEACH IN OUR COURSE.
Our Pilates and Yoga Teacher Training go far deeper the actual level 3 qualification.
This is why our courses are not for people who just want to tick the box for a certificate.
. Our courses are designed SPECIFICALLY for people who are genuinely passionate about helping other people feel safe and cared for as well as included!
Our courses are designed to give you as much education and skill as we possibly can, to ensure that your standard of teaching is exceptionally high (as YMCA have told us) and you FEEL confident!!
Now I know that money and location play a big factor in choosing the right school for you.
I did my training in Southampton and went camping for several weekends because I couldn’t afford a hotel!
I’ve travelled to Northampton for a 4-hour seminar and even travelled to London, leaving at midnight to get there on time in the morning, because all I could afford was a National Express bus ticket.
I get it.
The worst thing you can do is choose a school purely based on the price that you see on their website and where it is located.

We may not be the right school for you and that’s also okay, but please choose the best school for you because the training they provide sings to you, NOT because it’s the cheapest and closest.
It will come back and bite you on the bum (ask me I know…. I’ve had to redo courses because I made this mistake!)
If you really want to be a good teacher FIND A GOOD SCHOOL and invest in YOURSELF and YOUR EDUCATION!
